The village is thriving, it has a village hall, school, two public houses within walking distance of our cottage, the previously mentioned Bakers Arms is a few yards away and The Boot Inn about 100 yards away. Both serve hot meals and we always keep up to date menus from both pubs in the cottage. The village has a 13th century church, St. Georges which has a Roman font.
There is a Village shop and Post Office near to The Boot Inn.
We are close to the Mortimer trail, famous with walkers, we can collect luggage and pass it on to the next “port of call” or collect you and return you to the route.
